In order to heighten positive images and love of rail transport in Indonesia, Director of Personnel and General Division of PT Kereta Api (Indonesian State Railway Company) had developed ideas of Indonesia rail transport roadshows. The roadshows would also promote trains love campaign, education on history and development of Indonesia rail transport, and the railway company’s products and services. The director also asked IRPS’ support and assistance in the roadshows.
The roadshows had been held in six major railway stations in Java:
July 10-12: Gambir, Jakarta
July 17-19: Cirebon
July 24-26: Semarang Tawang
July 31-August 2: Surabaya Gubeng
August 7-9: Yogyakarta
August 14-16: Bandung
