Mijnheer de voorzitter, het thema prostitutie op de politieke agenda brengen is niet evident. Het onderwerp ligt nogal gevoelig zowel in de politieke wereld als bij de publieke opinie. We kunnen uitgebreid discuteren over de vraag of prostitutie al dan niet aanvaardbaar of tolereerbaar is. Het verwondert mij steeds dat zelfs de vrouwenbeweging er nog niet in geslaagd is om hieromtrent tot eensgezindheid te komen.
